We love introducing people to our craft and passing on skills that have been around for a very very long time! Join us in our cosy country workshop for a couple of days' learning. Courses usually run from 10am till 4pm (ish) teas and coffees provided but bring a sarnie for lunch. Very good and reasonable accommodation is available locally

Catering for complete beginners. This is a 2 day course where you will learn all the techniques we use in bridlemaking. You will come away from the course having learnt skills involved in our trade, about the tools we use and having made a couple of basic items to take home with you.

Up to 3 students per course.

Course price £250 (incl Vat)

This is a follow on course from our Intro course, or for someone who has had a dabble with leatherwork elsewhere. This 3 day course can be tailored to the individual . Further developing skills learnt on basic course and also discussing pattern making and design. This would be a small class of up to 3 students. 

Materials provided at cost. Students encouraged to have their own tools although we will have some to borrow during the course

We can offer One 2 One learning too. If there is something you want to recap or aproject you need help with then we can help. 

If you get a taste for saddlery after completing the intro and Foundation course, we can help you prepare for your City & Guilds Levels 1, 2 and 3 in Bridlework.

This is a fun one day course available in November and December and anyone can join us making some leather Christmas decorations. No previous experience necessary. Christmas songs and mince pies and a whole heap of fun!
